Rose-"Aloha" and its characteristic features



Aloha - Climbing Rose




Breeder: Boerner, 1949.

Blossom: Continual flowering.
Flower diameter: 9 cm.
Fragrance: Strong.
Adult dimensions: Height up to 3 m if trained, up to 150 cm if grown as a bush.
Foliage: Deciduous.

Type of soil: Rich and free draining, avoid chalky soils.
Climate: Very hardy.
Site: Full sun.
Planting spacing: Every 50 cm.


Properties and uses:
The Climber Rose 'Aloha' is a vigorous Rose which can be grown as a bush or trained. It produces large, double flowers which are pure pink with vivid pink highlights. These flowers with their Old fashioned Rose’s charm have a strong fragrance.
