 Select your Area
Check the local weather. It will let you know whether forecast for about 7 days of your city

Use a flat seedling tray and its deep will be 5 centimeters. Make sure you have plenty of holes in it for good water drainage.

As the seeds are perfect in size then you can put the seeds over it by 1/3 after that cover the seeds with seedling mix only about 1 cm (one centimeter). Thereafter spread the Jasmine seeds on the mixture. If your seeds are so tiny then you can spread water very lightly and carefully on the seed.Make sure that the water must be mixed with diluted fungicide powder. It is very important to notice to follow that the seeds will not to go very deep inside the mixture by speeding water on the seed if it happens then the fertilization of the seeds have become difficult.

Temperature: 72F+
Average Germ Time: 28 - 42 days
Light Required: Yes
Depth: Do not cover
Sowing Rate: 3 - 4 seeds per plant
Moisture: Continuous, bottom water (not wet)
Plant Spacing: 36 inches

Care & Maintenance:

Grow in loam-based potting compost for indoor and few days after in full light. In the growing season, water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly; water sparingly in winter. For outdoors, grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.

Abutilon is a lovely Flowering Maple has early blooms and vivid colors. Abutilon blooms, when full-sized, will stand out from across the garden. This flowering maple plant will provide brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow from spring until frost. The flowers are 3 inches across and have a crepe-paper feel, somewhat like Hibiscus. There are to many flowers we can  get on each and every plant grown from Abutilon seeds.

Flowering Maple is also called Parlor Maple because it makes a lovely house plant, and this variety can also be used for containers. Abutilon Hybridum is superb for the garden, too. Low enough to edge a pathway or dazzle in the front of the border, it's a nice accent plant for the patio as well and so easy to grow from flower seeds. Need a good  partial shade for tolerant where summers are long and hot.

Use a well-balanced liquid fertilizer if the plant give us  much flower. Pruning is also important if the plant becomes too tall or gangly. Prune it back to a leaf joint to encourage more branching. If grown outdoors, prune in the early spring.

How to make Lawn Grass or Carpet Grass

Seeding your lawn is an economical and satisfying way to introduce healthy turf to your yard. In order to enjoy successful lawn establishment and a yard full of lush, inviting green grass, follow these eight steps:
1. Choose the right time of year: Early fall is the ideal time to plant grass seed because the ground is still warm to hasten germination. And the days are cool and sometimes rainy ensuring the seeds are moist. In early fall there is sufficient sunlight to allow new grass to thrive. this helps the grass to establish before winter.

2. Prepare the site: Grading of the site before planting is important as it will help in water retention and allow easy mowing. Choose steep slopes and make sure the area is level to avoid diseases.

3. Prepare the soil: It's important that your soil is loamy.

4. Plant the Seed: Rake the soil surface smooth and then sow the seed evenly.  Again use a rake to lightly work it into the soil at a depth of about 1/4 inch. Don't bury the seeds any deeper, as they require adequate light to germinate quickly.

5. Water: Water once a day with a light spray to keep the seeds moist. Sometimes skip watering for 1-2 days and water the next day. Once the seeds germinate and the seedlings begin to grow, water them regularly to keep them moist.

6. Inspect establishment: It will take two months for the grass to establish. At this time, start heavy watering regularly.

7. Mow and Maintain: Once the grass reaches three inches high, mow off one inch.

English Daisy Germination & Care ( Bells Perennis)

English Daisy( Bells Perennis) is a wild flower. It is biennial in its character and it also a hardy plant. It is bloomed especially early spring to early summer. It has many colors like red, white etc.Bells is generally called English Daisy.

SPECIFICATION OF ENGLISH DAISY

Season: Biennial
Height: 12- 18 inches
Bloom Season: spring to summer
Bloom Color: mixed
Environment: Full sun
Soil Type: Loamy, well-drained, pH 6.1 - 7.8
Average Germ Time: 14 - 21 days
Depth: 1/4 inch
Moisture: Keep seeds moist until germination
Plant Spacing: 8 - 12 inches

GERMINATION GUIDE

Step 1

Use a flat seedling tray and its deep will be 5 centimeter. Make sure you have plenty of holes in it for good water drainage.

Step 2
Take equal quantity of sand, soil and vermicompost. Then  mix all the three ingredients into one container.

Step 3

As the seeds are perfect in size then you can put the seeds over it by 1/3 after that cover the seeds with seedling mix only about 1 cm (one centimeter)
If your seeds are so tiny then you can spreed water very lightly and carefully on the seed.Make sure that the water must be mixed with diluted fungicide powder(2 gm in 1 litter water). It is very important  notice to follow that the seeds will not to go very deep inside the mixture by speeding water on the seed, if it happen then the fertilization of the seeds are become difficult.

Step 4

Sprinkle diluted fungicide water (2gm in 1 liter water) after sowing the seeds. We have to careful about putting the seed because seeds will not to go deep inside the mixture.

Step 5
Cover the seedling tray with tightly  plastic polythene wrap over the pot to promote soil moisture  and place it in under  light shadow area . Lift the plastic after three days  to check that the soil  moist or  not. If not, lightly moisten it with a water-filled spray bottle before replacing the plastic.

Step 6
Remove the plastic as soon as the seedlings emerge, and gradually move the pot to a brighter area over a two-week period so that at the end of that time they're acclimated to being in full sunlight.

CARE

  • The plant needs shade in the nursery.High intensity of sunlight is harmful to it.
  • When seedling will be  reached at 4 to 6 leaf soon they will  be transplanted to poly bags.
  • But do it carefully from beds with all roots immediately after transplantation.

Site and soil:

The most important requirement  is a good location with plenty of light. It needs at least five or six hours of good sunlight. It will  perform even better when located in full sun all day. With out  much  light they will produce  fewer flowers.

Spread the organic matter two to three inches thick. Then incorporate it into the soil to a depth of eight to ten inches, using a rototiller or garden fork. This helps open up heavy clay soil, which improves drainage, but can also increase the ability of light, sandy soil always hold moisture and nutrients.

Guava seed germination tips

Guavas actually thrive in both humid and dry climates but can survive only a few degrees of frost. The tree will recover from a brief exposure to 29° F but may be completely defoliated. Young trees are particularly sensitive to cold spells. Older trees, killed to the ground, have sent up new shoots which fruited 2 years later. Guavas can take considerable neglect, withstanding temporary water-logging and very high temperatures. They tend to bear fruit better in areas with a definite winter or cooler season.

In diseases, guava plant suffers from rust, which occurs in too warm weather and high humidity.Besides this, anthracite and leaf spot can be a problem too, both of these occurs in wet humid weather and spread through splashed water. By proper irrigation, you can easily prevent this.

HEALTH BENEFIT OF GUAVA

Guava fruit is one of the most common fruits in India. It is quite harder and prolific bearer. It is a rich source of vitamin C, Potassium and Protein. It is also a good source of calcium and phosphorus.

1. Immunity Booster
It’s true. Guavas contain 4 times the vitamin C content present in oranges.
As the guavas  one of the richest sources of vitamin C , it  helps to improve immunity and protects us against common infections and pathogens.
2. Lowers Risk of Cancer
“Lycopene, quercetin, vitamin C and other polyphenols act as potent antioxidants which neutralize free radicals generated in the body, preventing the growth of cancer cells. Guavas have shown to be widely successful in reducing prostate cancer risk and also inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells since it is rich in lycopene”, says different well known Dr.

3. Diabetes-Friendly
Due to the rich fiber  and low glycaemic , guavas prevent the development of diabetes. While the low glycemic index inhibits a sudden spike in sugar levels, the fiber content ensures the sugar levels are well regulated.

SPECIFICATION OF GUAVA

Growth Habit: evergreen
Foliage: short-petioled, 2 - 6 inches long
Fruits: round, 2 - 4 inches long,

LOCATION AND SOIL
Guava loves the sunny and warm exposure. It is a tropical plant but very much adaptable to temperate climates with moderate winter, when grown on the ground.

For growing guava in pots choose a quality potting mix or make your own substrate using equal parts compost, sand, and soil.

FERTILIZING
Guavas are fast growers and heavy feeders and benefit from regular applications of fertilizer. Mature trees may require as much as 1/2 pound actual nitrogen per year. Apply fertilizer monthly, just prior to heavy pruning.

GERMINATION GUIDE

Step 1
Use a flat seedling tray and its deep will be 5 centimetres. Make sure you have plenty of holes in it for good water drainage.

Step 2
As the seeds are  perfect in size then you can put the seeds over it by 1/3 after that cover the seeds with seedling mix only about 1 cm (one centimetre)

Step 3
Take equal quantity of sand, soil and vermicompost. Then mix all the three ingredients into one container.

Step 4
Sprinkle diluted fungicide water (2gm in 1-litre water) after sowing the seeds. We have to care about putting the seed because seeds will not go deep into the mixture.

 Step 5
Thereafter spreed the Guava seeds in the mixture. If your seeds are so tiny then you can spread water very lightly and carefully on the seed.Make sure that the water must be mixed with diluted fungicide powder. It is very important to notice to follow that the seeds will not to go very deep inside the mixture by speeding water on the seed if it happens then the fertilization of the seeds become difficult.

Step 6
Cover tightly plastic polythene wrap over the pot to promote soil moisture retention and place it in a dimly lit area of the house. Lift the plastic daily to check that the soil is moist. If not, lightly moisten it with a water-filled spray bottle before replacing the plastic. Expect germination within three to five days.

Step 7
Remove the plastic as soon as the seedlings emerge, and gradually move the pot to a brighter area over a two-week period so that at the end of that time they're acclimated to being in full sunlight.

Step 8
Minimum warm, above 60ºF (15.5ºC), is needed inside the container and it should be placed in the sunny area. After that, the whole thing should be covered with a poly bag and after 21 days later the plastic can be removed.

Step 9

watering can as it is required. place the container in a semi shaded place.  Guava needs a proper sunny area to germinate it.

IMPORTANT WATERING TIPS:

Use a watering can for watering. By moving the water stream constantly waves the can. Do not let the water to flood in particular area. Or use the sprayer to spray the water like mist.

1.Do not sow seeds on Rainy day or in a cloudy weather

2.You will definitely end up with nothing, wait for the bright sunny day and clear weather

3. Please check the forecast before sowing the seeds on the following website :

4.Use dry media (dry it yourself) Sprinkle diluted fungicide water (2gm in 1-litre water) after sowing the seeds.

Universal Germination Guide

  Growing your Seeds

Most important: Avoid rainy day or a cloudy weather.

You will definitely get nothing; wait for the bright sunny day and clear weather.

Please check the forecast before sowing the seeds on the following website:

1.       Select your Area.
2.       Check the local weather. It will let you know whether forecast for about 7 days of your city.

If you got problems with rats then take care of them because they will dig and eat seeds and you will never know what happened or they will cut and eat your seedlings in early stages.

This guide applies to all kind of fruits, vegetables and flower seeds (excluding Exotic Fruit Variety). For best germination, you have to place your seeds in the refrigerator for about 40 to 50 days. This will destroy all unnecessary microorganisms. After this, start germination process ending the Dormancy period.

Now prepare your soil for seeds:
1.       Coco peat Sieved
2.       Sand Sieved
3.       Fungicide (Bavastin, etc.)

You should make professional quality seeding mix for best germination.

Follow the steps below:

1.       Prepare fine Coconut powder by filtering with a strainer and dry it directly on sunlight.

2.       At the time of filtering, you can get two types coconut fibre separately with another basket.

3.       Use thick coconut fibre on the bottom of our sowing pot. They will be working as a strainer can controlling the water flow and it will also protect coconut powder flow from out of the bottom of the pot.

4.       Use water mixed fungicide (Bavastin, etc.)  chemical for watering dry coconut powder until it's soaked. To protect the baby seedling, fungicide chemical is very important. Through this process, the roots will be nice.

Secret Tips for tiny or very small seeds:

·         Try to use a mix of half virgin forest leaf soil for better germination if the seeds are tiny.
·         Mix 80% Coco peat & 20% Sand Sieved. After mixing add Fungicide 1 gm / 2.6 Kg.
·         Now your seeding mix is ready.
Coco peat is basically finely cut coconut outer fibre because of its great ability to hold water (moisture), helping proper seeds germination providing air space for the roots, light in weight and easy to handle. Thus, makes it the best soilless germination media for seeds in the modern horticulture industry.
Today almost all commercial growers in the world use this as growing and germination medium because it sterilized. It does not contain any fungus that can kill or destroy seeds at germination and at seedlings early stages. It is very easy to find it at any gardening stores or nursery. It’s sold as solid compressed blocks of many weights and sometimes in prepared ready to use condition, starting from 1 Kg. to 5 Kg. cost of Coco peat is around INR 30 to 50 per Kg. depending on the quality. 1 Kg. of Coco peat block will become about 4 to 5 litres in volume. After buying, you just have to add water to submerge and wait for 20 minutes. It requires a rather big container from its size because it expands almost 4 to 5 times in volume after getting moist.

Follow these steps below for growing a healthy plant:

1.       Use a Seeding tray or soil seedling pot: Put seeding mix then put one seed in every Cavity about 5mm deep (not too deep and not too shallow). Cover it with seeding mix and place the seedling tray in shaded place.
                                                                    OR

2.       Use a flat tray container about 10 inches by 15 inches (biggest or smaller your choice) 1.5 to 2 inches deep. Make sure you have plenty of holes in it for good water drainage put the seedling mix you prepared up to almost top leaving about 0.5 inches space now evenly spread the seeds over it after that cover the seeds with seedling mix only about 0.5 cm (half a centimeter)  water it by watering can è place the container in semi-shaded place.

3.       Watering tips: Use a watering can for watering. By moving the water stream constantly waves the can. Do not let the water to flood in particular area. Or use a sprayer to spray the water like mist.

4.       Very essential: After sowing the seeds in coco peat for best germination cover the pot with clear plastic wrapper until they are germinated. Remove the plastic once in 2 days for about 20 to 30 minutes to have a good air circulation (do not give water if not needed). After that, again cover the pot with the clear plastic wrapper, this will act like you are using a Seeds Incubator. It helps a lot to maintain humidity, raises the temperature and protects seeds from rats and birds.

5.       Important tips about Coco Peat: It may look as the seedling mix is dry from outside but it will be wet from inside. Always check the seedling mix by scratching it by hand that it is wet or dry from inside.

6.       Watering it on need base so check regularly for watering. Do not over water the plants.

After seeds germinate you will wait till seedlings get more than 6 leaves. After that, you need to transplant the plant to where you want. Remove your seedling from the tray. Make sure that whole seedling mix is also removed from the tray with your plant. Do not try to remove seedling mix from the roots. Take them out as a whole, otherwise, the root of the plant will lose moisture during transplantation. Spray fungicide and insecticide every 20 days or as per need, fertilize every 20 days. Now you have got healthy plants.
