Properties and uses:
This is a rose that is exceptionally delicate and with a unique charm, may be more so than any other rose.
It flowers are not very open and of a medium size. The petals form the most beautiful rosette and have a pure soft pink colour; the outer petals have a slightly lighter colour than the interior ones.
It is quite similar to the old-fashioned roses 'Alba', and the 'Queen of Sweden' for example. This rose grows in an elegant curved shape and even produces flowers at the base of the stem making it an excellent and vigorous shrub of about 1.5m in height.
Its scent is deliciously fresh and fruity with a hint of raspberry and tea. It is the type of shrub that would be at home in a French style garden as well as a more relaxed setting, it could also be used a hedge.

Availability or time of plantation :
When growing in the garden, roses should be planted between November and February. Roses are available all year round and are sold either as seeds or as cuttings. If you are growing in a pot, they can be planted at any time.

Care Tips:
Roses need to be fed regularly and the amount of feeding will depend on the kind of soil they are planted in. Pruning is also important and should be done after between mid-February and mid-March during a sustained frost-free period.
