Bringraj is usually known as false daisy, is a type of plant in the sunflower family. This plant has tube shaped, grayish roots. The  bloom heads are 6–8 mm (0.24–0.31 in) in distance across, with white flower. This species are generally in tropical zones around the world. It is generally appropriated all countries through India, China, Thailand, and Brazil. The plant naturally used in Ayurveda. It is biting, hot, sharp, dry in taste.
